Handling The Night Shift
"Transat [Air Transat Call Sign] 760, cleared to land runway 25". That was how it felt. An air traffic controller at one of the busiest airports handling the tower division at night. I was exhausted. I was tired. Time was celebrating its victory. I laid there. Painfully, begging for dear sleep. The only noise, was crying. Before that though, was my little brother, was there sleeping beside me. Snoring. I was there. In charge of him. I was to take care of him. But, why tonight? It's vacation night. There were horrible blankets of which I just threw outside of the hotel room. But, there he was. The cutest thing imaginable. My little brother. Just lying there, sleeping. Snoring. He was fine. I managed to get only 10 minutes worth of sleep. That's it. Then, we lost our engines. He woke up. I, however, didn't. My parents woke up to take care of him. And, 4 minutes after there got him back to sleep. I, just stood there, on the, not so good kind of a bed, thinking how bad of a brother I am not able to take care of him at the night shift. He did not sleep well through the night, waking up nearly 7 times. Abnormal for one of his age. Anyways, we were in Niagara Falls, in a hotel near the Fallsview Waterpark. Earlier that day, my dad picked me up early from school, and we drove their straight away. My little brother had lots of fun in the waterpark and he was splashing water at everyone and enjoying himself. Meanwhile, at night, it wasn't so good. I got him to sleep at about 8:15 PM and he woke up at about 10:00 PM. I didn't get to sleep until 9:55 PM. Then, I woke up at exactly 10:04 PM. It was horror. Screaming and crying was there every minute that night. I never got any sleep after that, despite him going back to sleep at about 10:30 PM. His next stop, was at 11:45 PM. He woke up again. Screaming in my ears. My parents took care of him again, thinking that I was completely out. I was. I was tired, trying to get to sleep. But, I couldn't. Every single minute, there was no sleep for me. He woke up an additional 5 times. Then, at 8:15 AM, everyone woke up. I was there tired and exhausted, hungry and thirsty. My day was tiring since I didn't get any sleep the previous night. I went to the waterpark. 10 minutes before we were about to leave. The 3 whistle blast came. "Everyone get out of the pool"! Apparently, someone threw up in the pool and they had to clean it. We left to get fish & chips, where all they have is fresh fish. Best fish & chips I've ever had. We left the city to go back home. Our first stop on the way back home, was a mall in Burlington. I found the apple store there and there was a 1 hour lineup to get in the store. All those people, were trying to take advantage of the lower prices. We got back home, and finally I got a good day and a good nights sleep.

Make a touching commercial like that on our own.
This is a song suggestion:

In Flanders Fields,
By: John McCrae
In Flanders Fields, the poppies blow,
between the crosses row on row
that mark our place;
and in the sky,
the larks, still bravely singing fly,
scarce heard amid the guns below
We are the dead.
short days ago
We lived felt dawn saw sunset glow
Loved, and were loved,
and now we lie in flanders fields
Take up our quarrel with the foe
to you from falling hands we throw
the torch, be yours to hold it high
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep
though poppies grow
In Flanders Fields
