Buttonville?
Who knows? Buttonville Municipal Airport could've closed down a second ago.
162 200 Aircraft movements. Where will they go?
Toronto Pearson International Airport is obviously out of the question. So is Toronto Billy Bishop International Airport. The New Pickering Airport? No, it will handle international traffic. More delays, more crashes which is what made the fate of Avianca Flight 52 and killed . Other airports are too far from Toronto. We need Buttonville Municipal Airport.

Buttonville...
Visit our new survey!
You can permanently lose:
680 News traffic reports
The Weather Network weather forecasting for the communities of Markham and Richmond Hill
Toronto Airways
They can't move anywhere else!
Here are some possibilities:
CYYZ (Toronto Pearson International Airport) can't be used; it handles international traffic and would force lengthy delays for small aircraft (Distance from Toronto: 11.9 KM)
CYTZ (Toronto Billy Bishop International Airport) can't be used; a cramped space would not allow more aircraft and international traffic makes use of a warehouse to be out of the question (Distance from Toronto: 1 KM (due to flying time))
CYZD (Toronto Downsview Airport) Used as a manufacturing facility and cannot be used for the public (Distance from Toronto: approx 15 KM)
The organisations nearest airport that they can use is Oshawa Airport (CYOO) and is more than 40 KM from downtown Toronto and cannot be used as it would take 30 minutes from Oshawa to Toronto. As for the Weather Network, they would have to pay to use land as in Buttonville Airport, the amount of pay was low as it was essential for the Weather Network to conduct forecasting for wind and temperature for the aircraft taking off and landing.

A Twisted Ankle
Horrible! I TWISTED MY ANKLE!
That's my cast! Apparently, my doctor diagnosed me with a twisted ankle today. I have no idea how I twisted it, all I know is that it happened during the night and it started to come as I woke up this morning. My bone was sticking out and my foot wanted to go on its left side and I was limping. It hurts and I have to keep the cast on for about 2 weeks! Hopefully, it will heal by then. Or earlier.

Our Instructional Video Project
My Instructional Video Project: How to Make a Grilled Cheese Sandwich
My Video: Click Here
What I think I did well:
My Video: Click Here
What I think I did well:
- Planned the video well
- Taught in a way a 5 year old would understand
- Had a good idea on what to say
- No hesitations or pausing (except the time I found there was holes in the bread! That was very unexpected and surprising for me! If you watch my video, you can really see what happened at 01:40 of the video!)
- Chose good music to go with the video
- Was able to learn how to quickly use Pinnacle (a video making software used by pros)
- Was able to edit cleanly and fix and crop unwanted video
What I think I could improve or do differently:
- Try to figure out how to adjust the volume for the clips and the background music (Couldn't find out how!)
- Try and get iMovie to be with the same level as the class
- Seek more feedback from friends to find their opinion
When my video comes, watch it and give feedback below on this post! If you having something you want to see on this post? Put a comment below to see it appear within minutes! I enjoy everyone comments! Creative criticism, feedback and everything!

Another Tenerife Disaster Happened! This Time, in Toronto!
One of the deadliest near miss to happen on Canadian soil today. Literally, the American Eagle flight and the Air Canada flight were just feet from each other to crash. This article will be coming soon on this blog. After/or if, the final report and the Air Traffic Control voice recorder become for public use, I will analyze these and create my own final report along with a timeline of events.

Handling The Night Shift
"Transat [Air Transat Call Sign] 760, cleared to land runway 25". That was how it felt. An air traffic controller at one of the busiest airports handling the tower division at night. I was exhausted. I was tired. Time was celebrating its victory. I laid there. Painfully, begging for dear sleep. The only noise, was crying. Before that though, was my little brother, was there sleeping beside me. Snoring. I was there. In charge of him. I was to take care of him. But, why tonight? It's vacation night. There were horrible blankets of which I just threw outside of the hotel room. But, there he was. The cutest thing imaginable. My little brother. Just lying there, sleeping. Snoring. He was fine. I managed to get only 10 minutes worth of sleep. That's it. Then, we lost our engines. He woke up. I, however, didn't. My parents woke up to take care of him. And, 4 minutes after there got him back to sleep. I, just stood there, on the, not so good kind of a bed, thinking how bad of a brother I am not able to take care of him at the night shift. He did not sleep well through the night, waking up nearly 7 times. Abnormal for one of his age. Anyways, we were in Niagara Falls, in a hotel near the Fallsview Waterpark. Earlier that day, my dad picked me up early from school, and we drove their straight away. My little brother had lots of fun in the waterpark and he was splashing water at everyone and enjoying himself. Meanwhile, at night, it wasn't so good. I got him to sleep at about 8:15 PM and he woke up at about 10:00 PM. I didn't get to sleep until 9:55 PM. Then, I woke up at exactly 10:04 PM. It was horror. Screaming and crying was there every minute that night. I never got any sleep after that, despite him going back to sleep at about 10:30 PM. His next stop, was at 11:45 PM. He woke up again. Screaming in my ears. My parents took care of him again, thinking that I was completely out. I was. I was tired, trying to get to sleep. But, I couldn't. Every single minute, there was no sleep for me. He woke up an additional 5 times. Then, at 8:15 AM, everyone woke up. I was there tired and exhausted, hungry and thirsty. My day was tiring since I didn't get any sleep the previous night. I went to the waterpark. 10 minutes before we were about to leave. The 3 whistle blast came. "Everyone get out of the pool"! Apparently, someone threw up in the pool and they had to clean it. We left to get fish & chips, where all they have is fresh fish. Best fish & chips I've ever had. We left the city to go back home. Our first stop on the way back home, was a mall in Burlington. I found the apple store there and there was a 1 hour lineup to get in the store. All those people, were trying to take advantage of the lower prices. We got back home, and finally I got a good day and a good nights sleep.
